From February 3rd to April 14th, S.S.A. work around the theme "A Sense of Place" is exhibited at the Smith Art Gallery. From 1st to 28th March, this is supplemented by work on display at the Cowane Centre. The exhibition part of the programme will be completed by works exhibited at the MacRobert Centre: the dates are March 11th to April 17th in the foyer space, plus sculptural work in the grounds, and from April 1st to May 17th in the Gallery.

The exhibitions coincide with National Galleries Week, so from 4th to 10th March a series of related events will be held at the Smith Art Gallery. These include a talk by Lys Hansen, a photographic presentation by Colin Wishart entitled "Genius Loci", a quiz trail and workshop organised by Peter Russell, and a question-and-answer panel session. A specially-designed three-part catalogue by Phil Braham is available for the S.S.A. exhibitions.
